Come at me Kome

From the owners of Sushi-A-Go-Go comes the new Japanese sensation: Kome. Many former Uchi chefs have left Uchi and switched to Kome. Much like Uchi it serves high class, delicious Japanese food. However, the prices at Kome are much more affordable than those at Uchi. Kome is a small little restaurant on Airport Blvd. open Monday through Friday.  It is owned by Take Asazu and Kayo Asazu, Take is the head chef of the kitchen. As Kome is opening, the Sushi-A-Go-Go trailer on Airport Blvd. will be closing down but I think that the exchange of Kome for the trailer is very fair. I went to the pre-opening of this restaurant, a test trial of sorts for the restaurant. As far as I am concerned the did not need this test trial they were spot on. The food they had was fantastic, like Uchi if not better and cheaper. The sushi rolls they had were fantastic, the blue finned tuna roll was fantastic. For the vegetarians who are out there, there was a vegetable roll that was very, very good it tasted extremely fresh and had a Japanese root that had been pickled which made the roll. All-in-all I would definitely recommend this restaurant, because it was very, very, very good.
