Thundercloud is an awesome sandwich place that goes with the theme of keep Austin weird. It is the local, and better, version of subway. At Thundercloud, you can get a variety of sandwiches. I personally get the tuna with everything on it on wheat, but they also have the famous California Club, which is turkey, bacon, avocado, and cheese. You can even ask for turkey with nothing on it. They hand make whatever sandwich you want, right in front of you, and make sure your order is perfect for your wanting with chips, drinks, salads, and a dessert. The only thing is if you make a weird sandwich then they give you this funny look and it makes you feel judged for your weirdness. It can be funny, and it really depends on who takes your order, but really they are cool guys and girls who love a friendly conversation. Overall, I highly suggest going local next time you are craving a sandwich, and keep Austin weird!!
