Fork in the Road

Art Credit Here
Hyde Park is one of my ultimate favorite restaurants.  My mom is a pretty good chef so I am typically pretty picky when it comes to restaurants, but Hyde Park has the best Tony’s Southern Fried Chicken I have ever had.  I also love their salads, even though I have only tried the normal salad with ranch, mainly because I love their cute baby tomatoes.  There are these biscuits that come with the chicken that are the best biscuits I have ever had.  They are extremely fluffy and taste awesome with butter.  Their French fries are voted the best in Austin and they are scrumptious along with their green beans, which are salted to perfection.  As much as I love this dish, they only have it on Mondays and Tuesdays, and it is also the only dish I love.  I have not tried much on their menu except their salmon and rice pilaf.  The salmon is good, but they cook it a little too long.  The very first Hyde Park has a giant fork, which is why they call it the fork in the rode.  Next time you pass that giant fork, stop buy for one of those delicious chicken.  For more information click here.
